If a guide states a rule that has changed in your province, or a fee that no longer matches the official schedule, please tell us, and include the official source if you can. Corrections are checked at the source and fixed with a new last verified stamp.

Please note what we cannot do: we cannot review your will, advise on your estate, or answer questions about your personal situation. For that, a lawyer in your province, or a notary in Quebec, is the right person, and a first conversation is often shorter and less expensive than people expect.
